Author Event: Alicia Kennedy, "No Meat Required"

Alicia Kennedy will be discussing her new book: "No Meat Required: The Cultural History and Culinary Future of Plant-Based Eating."

Join us for an evening with writer Alicia Kennedy to celebrate her debut book, No Meat Required: The Cultural History and Culinary Future of Plant-Based Eating. Kennedy’s work on food and culture has been published in the New York Times, the Washington Post, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Eater, Bon Appétit, and many other publications.

No Meat Required is a fresh exploration of the history of American veganism and Kennedy is a go-to resource on the awareness and recognition of the international culture of plant-based diets; she brings much-needed depth and context to our understanding of vegan and vegetarian cuisine, and makes a passionate argument for retaining its radical heart.

There will be an active discussion as well as ample time for Q&A.

Books will be available for purchase as well as signing!

NOTE: This event will be held indoors at Wild Child. Your ticket is valid for a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic beverage! Walk-ins are also welcome, drink purchase required!
